I really enjoyed the chicken breast sandwich it was fresh and juicy definitely will order that one again..My son is a picky eater but he loved their chicken tenders. My wife is Asian and will eat anything so she just ordered the lobster roll and remarked how fresh it tasted..I pointed to the lobster tank and gave her the duhh look.awesome place to eat..and if you're a tourist please don't bring your pizza from another shop in here the seating is limited and all you'll do is irk the crap out of people like me.

Wow wow wow! Simple counter service fresh delicious Main seafood! Yah u pay 4 lobster & scallops but Harrys has the best price on York beach. We had the best lobster bisque here 10 years ago and were thrilled 2 find them still here. The counter service was friendly & fast and we r happy & full! Totally recommend!

During our first trip we Ordered the fishermans platter , food was ample but condiments were not !!! You would figure spending 37+ dollars they could spare tarter sauce and coleslaw ..... On our second trip there we ordered the same thing and this time they gave us ample tarter sauce and a lemon wedge ... We still had to ask for more lemon ..... But this time they were more than happy to supply more lemon !!!

I just stopped for breakfast and it was terrific! The breakfast sandwiches are very fresh and cooked to order. The coffee was freshly brewed and piping hot. They open at 7am, which is great if you need a quick, hot, delicious, reasonably priced breakfast.

I went here because of their proximity to where I was staying in York, and because I was craving fried clams. I probably should have asked what the market price was prior to ordering, but my craving got the better of me, so I paid $25.99 for the fried clam dinner. Definitely not worth the money. Too few clams, too many fries, and the clams, while good, didn't justify the price. The service was fine, but I think it's rather presumptuous of them to expect a tip at a place where you order at the counter and bus your own table.

Not impressed. Time to wait for fried food is over half an hour for French fries and chicken tenders. When asked how much longer we were told 5 minutes or so there was a HUGE phone order ahead of us. The phone order came to pick up it was 6 boxes of fried food. I guess that's huge. It's run by kids standing around watching each other instead of pitching in. Also the kid with the bandage on his hand really should wear a glove.

Recommended by one of the local shopowners, this place had a great fish sandwich. Seating is very limited, so nab a table as soon as possible!

Great place to grab a lobster roll after relaxing on the beach! Nothing fancy, but the food is so good!

I had a horrible run in with the "owner" of this restaurant. I was basically told I was stealing for accepting food that was mistakenly dropped off at my table. Full story below... My boyfriend and I stopped here after going to the beach on Friday, Aug 8 in the afternoon. My boyfriend is originally from New England and wanted me to try a few things New England does better than anyone; fried seafood, lobster rolls and clam chowder. We found Harry's Seafood & Grill, went to the counter, placed our order and sat down. After about 5-10 minutes a kid was walking around with clam strips and asked us if we ordered them. We did order clam strips so we said yes. Next thing out was a lobster roll and it was then we noticed our clam chowder was taking a while to get to us. At about the same time we saw the same kid with another lobster roll and a smaller order of clam strips. We realized he may have dropped off the wrong order at our table. We explained what happened to him and he apologized for giving us the wrong food and went to go talk to his manager. The kid came back and said we owed the difference ($4) on the larger order of clam strips. I told him we were fine sending the order back and that it was an honest mistake but we were not going to pay for food we did not order. Then the manager (who said he was the owner at the time) came out and started demanding that we pay for the food that was dropped off at our table. We explained, again, that it was a mistake and that we would return the clam strips we did not order. He said that because we "accepted" the food the burden was on us to pay the difference. The manager "owner" wouldn't accept that it was a mistake and after a few more minutes of being told to pay the difference for food we didn't order, he told us to leave and threatened to call the police. At this point, we just wanted the rest of our food. They got us some to go containers, the clam chowder and my boyfriend finished the lobster roll (which was very good). We were both mortified by the whole situation but tried not to let it ruin our day at the beach. I just hope that this gentlemen realizes you can't treat customers like that and that when mistakes happen you don't take it our on your guests.

They are closed for the season already. Today is a beautiful sunny Friday in September. I would think they would stay open since it's the only place for seafood here by the beach.

We had lobsters and fried clams here last week. Lindsay was super accommodating of my young family, even after I changed our order multiple times! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very kid friendly. She showed my sons the lobster tanks, which they loved. We will be back next year!

2 and a half. No frills seafood joint with the ambiance of a beach side semi dive / Mexican prison. That's because it is a beach side semi dive. It is, however, not a Mexican prison. Competitive prices for a beach town, and despite the slow service- it did the trick- a lobster roll and some whole bellies. Nothing memorable but not awful. If you've got wheels (and you must if you've made it to York), you can do better. If, however, you are strolling the Short Sands boardwalkish center and looking for some seafood, you can grub here.

My fiancee and I stopped by there today for a quick lunch, and we left almost an hour later fed and happy. Harry's Seafood & Grill had good food (nothing to write home about, but food that was up to par with other New England Order-In Seafood shops), but they lacked in speed of service. For the two of us, we ordered: Lobster Roll ($15.99) - definitely on the smaller side. The portion of fries that came with it dwarfed this roll on a small, New England style bun. The Lobster meat was fresh and I didn't notice any filler. Clam Chowder ($5.99) - Probably the highlight of the meal. The chowder had great flavor. Coleslaw ($.99) - The price was right, the cup was filled, and the flavor was forgotten. It is a decent, standard coleslaw, but nothing to seek out. The service is where they were really struggling. The waitress was having a hard time connecting the orders with their tables. It was also surprising that the order took all of 20+ minutes to come out. The place was pretty empty and our order small. All in all, I would recommend Harry's for a short, stop in lunch. Don't go there if you're in a huge rush, but on a lazy beach day, this place works!

Meh... Got the haddock sandwich and was not that impressed. The haddock had a little bit of a funny taste to it which threw me off. Prices were a little one the high side considering they gave me a smaller portion of fish. Seems like a place for tourists looking to try some Maine seafood. I will probably pass next time...

Amazing lobster roll! The service was poor, the girls at the counter were rude. There was a pricing difference from the marker board out front. I brought it to their attention that the sign was not clear but they didn't seem to give a darn. I would return just for the lobster roll because it was just that good, but I would not leave a tip in the future.

It's the fried food you've been craving since you set out for Maine. Go straight for the fish and chips or lobster roll, then head down the street for some ice cream. A winner!

I've never in my life seen a manager so rude. Went in with a group of 6 people and ordered $100 worth of seafood. Just as we were getting our food, a family with a very old lady sits at the table beside us, and we all look at eat other thinking the lady smelled extremely bad. As my mom goes to pull her steamers close to her we realize the awful smell is coming from them (not the lady). My mom politely tells the manager that the steamers are very bad. He so arrogantly just says No they aren't. My mom says no just smell them and you'll see. Again he rudely says theirs nothing wrong with them that's how they smell. I guess I should point out that our family is 6th generation of fisherman and personally own 2 fish markets in Boston. Trust me we know what fish and shellfish should smell like and it's not that, and let me tell you we've never ever treated a customer like that. So my mom proceeded to have an argument all she wanted was either her money back just for the steamers or something in place of it, it was a real simple thing. Finally after my mom asked a few other customers if they thought the steamers smelled "normal" he told my mom she was causing a disturbance, told the cashier to refund us the full bill (about $100) and asked us to never return. Our food had already come so we ate, as we were leaving my mom went up to the cashier and gave her the money back for the bill (minus the steamers amount) and told her to tell him all we wanted was the money back for the bad steamers and its a shame hes so rude to his customers. I will review the lobster bisque was really good. The lobster roll was not the greatest it was just a few chunks of lobster with really no mayo. Needless to say we won't be back. When we returned and told our family about a seafood place in York, ME they said was it Harry's? Apparently they are known for having bad seafood a lot...Wish we knew beforehand.

One of the worst clam dinners ever. Only a handful of clams and more fries.. basically a plate of fries and side of clams. Scallops were over done!

Chowder is good bisque not so good. Not for nothing but market basket has lobsters for 4 dollars cheaper this week and they will cook them for nothing. Fried food is fried food. We are nearby and do appreciate the fact that they are there.

It's a joint, service is slow, lobster is good. Nuff said.

A really great deal for first-rate seafood sandwiches and burgers. I keep going back!
